Three games remain on Wednesday after Penn State defeated Boise State 31-14 in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Eve to advance to the quarterfinals.
The expanded playoffs were unsuccessful in the first round, but several heavyweight matchups are currently scheduled as the remaining teams compete for a spot in the semifinals.
