Cloudbreak Health, a healthcare-focused video remote interpretation services company, has announced it has rebranded to Equiti and acquired tech-enabled language services provider Voyce.
The integration will bring together Voyce’s products and Cloudbreak’s video remote interpretation platform, Martti, under the Equiti brand.
The company said the merger is expected to increase interpretation resources, reduce connection times and expand the range of languages supported.
“Today’s announcement is a major step toward improving equitable health care for millions of patients across North America,” Andrew Royce, CEO of Voice and new president of Equity, said in a statement.
“These two partnerships reflect our commitment to providing technology-driven solutions that empower healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes. The combined Martti and Voyce teams will provide the best and most intuitive platform for interpreters while addressing the diverse needs of hospitals, health systems and communities.”
The Equiti team is led by CEO Maureen Huber, President Andrew Royce, CFO Mike Schmidt and Martti co-founder Andy Panos.
