Absolutely amazing! This pot works very well. Easy to use, easy to clean, and easily attaches to any pot. I also used it to remove oil from ground beef. Great product.
This is one of the few “smart gadget” type products you can find on the internet that actually delivers on its promise and is a game changer. I live alone and have an average sized kitchen sink and counter space, so pureeing pasta in a large pot is either really tedious and takes too long or makes a mess. No more.
This small strainer easily clips on and gets the job done. There’s a slight gap between the strainer and the side of the pot, so if you’re making a small amount of pasta you’ll have to tilt it slowly, but other than that little point it’s great.
Who would have thought that such a small “gadget” could have such an impact? I’ve been drinking this doohickey for less than a month and already I can’t imagine life without it. I make pasta and noodles two or three times a week, and not having to dirty the colander just to drain the water each time makes my cooking life a lot easier, especially if I have to put the noodles back in the same pot. I did. This also works well and the noodles don’t escape. I haven’t tried it with smaller pastas like orzo, so you may need to be more careful or use a finer strain. Either way, I’m a big fan. One of my favorite random kitchen purchases.
