PA MediaIt turns out that Chelsea striker Sam Kerr is not guilty of causing racially aggravated harassment after calling a metropolitan police officer “silly and white.”
A ju judge at Kingston Crown Court cleared her on January 30, 2023 in connection with the incident in Twickenham, southwest London.
Carr, 31, said he was “hospitable” by officers after being taken to the police station by a taxi driver after the conflict.
Australia International, which made a comment to PC Stephen Lovell, did not deny the use of the term “silly and white,” but it amounted to racial crime.
Ms. Kerr was exempt by the ju apprentice after four hours of deliberation.

In a statement following the verdict, Ms. Kerr thanked her supporters, family and friends, who said she now “can put this challenging time behind me.”

“I will express that because of the power and privilege they had, they do not need to understand what we just experienced and the fear we had for our lives. That was what I was saying.”
Now, Kerr’s legal team can report that he attempted to throw the case in a preliminary hearing, claiming that there was abuse of the process by the prosecutor.
Carr’s lawyer, Grace Forbes, has violated its own guidance by the Crown Prosecutor’s Office (CPS), and a “loophole” in the victim’s right to review prosecutor proceedings one year after the suspected crime. He added that it was used to justify.
During the trial, they only provided PC Lovell with a statement claiming that Ms Kerr’s comments caused “alarm or harassment” after the decision.
In his first statement to CPS, the officers did not mention the “silly, white” comments affecting him, ju-describers said.

He read the statement section to the court, but the comment told him he was “shocked, upset, and (left) humiliated.”
The claim was approved in the second half of December 2023, almost a year after the incident.
