ALEXANDRIA — Ambassadors from the Alexandria Lake Area Chamber of Commerce visited three local businesses on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge recently opened a new location at 525 Willow Dr. The 74-bed, more than 50,000-square-foot facility includes a chapel, dining hall, classrooms, common areas, quiet spaces, weight room, gymnasium, and more. The facility provides treatment and recovery programs for those struggling with addiction. We also offer outpatient, telehealth, in-person care, licensed residential facilities, long-term recovery, and more. For more information, please visit MNTC.org.
D. Mike’s Resort Bar and Grill opened this spring at Viking Plaza Mall. The new restaurant pays homage to the former D. Michael B’s Resort Bar and Grill, with some of the same decor and a menu that includes 80 percent of the previous menu. The restaurant is owned by Mike and Kelly Daniels, who have deep roots in the previous restaurant. For more information, visit DMikesResortBarAndGrill.com.
Quality Equipment recently constructed a new building at the same location to accommodate its growing needs. The company, formerly known as Alex Power Equipment, was acquired by Quality Equipment in 2020. The new building allows for a larger showroom and more shoprooms to service a variety of products. We are an official Kubota, Land Pride, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, and Honda dealer, but we can accommodate any small engine brand/need. For more information, please visit QualityEquipmentMN.com.
Chamber Ambassadors serve as active communication links for members and non-members to foster and promote positive relationships between the Chamber and the business community. For more information about the Alexandria Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, visit www.alexandriamn.org or call 320-763-3161.
Our newsroom may report stories under the byline “Staff.” The “Staff” byline is often used when rewriting basic news summaries that come from official sources and require little or no reporting, such as a city press release about a road closure. This byline is sometimes used when a news article has many authors or is created by aggregating previously reported news from different sources. If external sources are used, they will be noted within the story.
