SC, HORRY COUNTY (WMBF) -Coastal Carolina Athletics held a Hoops & Heels event dedicated to sports women on sports days, prior to women and women in sports.
On Wednesday, we mark the 39th Annual Girls and Women’s Day on the day of sports, but we decided to celebrate the chant early.
The event was similar to others for other people and women in the coastal carolina and community sports.
HOOPS & HEELS appeared with two panels with coaches and student athletes and women in sports outside the court.
“We are a big network. We feel that our women have to be together when they work in sports or play sports,” said Alise, athletic director of student development and engagement. Svilha said. “It’s not one of the industries where you can tear each other. We think we need to build each other consistently and give power. The small girls there today have a message. I hope that the student athlete will be able to build up each other.
This event had a full ability in the first year of its launch, and the entire panel message was to break the glass ceiling.
“These girls come in, see all of these stories and backgrounds, allow them to experience and listen. It’s great,” said Christine call, a General Manager of Martar Beach Pelican. “For young athletes, such events, young women are really wonderful, but again, finding that you are passionate. You don’t feel like you are working all day in your life. Don’t be afraid to ask a question. “
The CCU Athletic Department will continue the event for years.
