A massive, luxurious RV parking lot in Sangyo, California, has been handed over to homeless squatters.
The lot, which features 130-person campers worth $6.5 million, has become a crime-filled homeless camp over the past two years after the Private Party that bought the RVS abandoned the area, Fox 11 Los Angeles reported.
Videos from the scene show the parking lot is filled with a pile of garbage and one of the campers engulfed in flames.
People who work and live nearby said frequent fires at train stations and ramp-prolonged crimes, including robberies, have subsequently plagued the surrounding area.

According to a local outlet, millions of dollars were stolen from a train running behind the property.
According to Fox 11 La, Nissan employees who said they were using some of the parking lots to overflow inventory also show that homeless people often steal new car tires and gas from tanks.
California’s GOP leaders are seeking accountability after the state can’t explain the $24 billion spent on the homeless crisis
“It’s a bit scary to go to our car at night,” Nissan’s receptionist Kiki told the local station. “Every morning, the sheriff’s department drives the lot and then they just leave, but they told us they really can’t do anything because it’s abandoned.”
Surveillance cameras, civil security and law enforcement have not made much progress in stopping ramp-prolonged crime. The station said the security team had previously tried to retrieve the camper, but gave up because they were afraid of their safety.
“To be honest, it comes down to our politicians who haven’t done anything about it,” Nissan employee Khaled Ghrewahti told Fox 11 about the growing homeless population.

The man who bought a new camper left RVS and has not paid rent in two years, Fox 11 reported, citing the property manager.
Raymond Henderson, who works at the local meat market and stays in one of the campers, said the owner of the RV has returned to the past. He told Henderson that he could stay as a tenant for $300 a month.
L.A. County superintendent Hilda Solis said last year the property owner recently won a court order to remove residents to begin legal proceedings.

“The city does not own the site, but this is a private dispute between the property owner and the private parties,” Solis said in a statement. “Although Los Angeles County does not have jurisdiction over land use issues in corporate cities like industrial cities, my office is actively working to address many concerns. That’s why the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homeless Outreach Services Team (host) will continue to do its outreach this week.”
The property manager said it would cost $80,000 to clean up the trash, Fox 11 reported. The cleanup effort began Wednesday, with crew members hoping that everyone will come out within two days, the station said.
