CBS Sports Network will continue its coverage of the 2024 college football season with coverage of three games scheduled for Week 3. The action begins Saturday afternoon with UMass traveling to face Buffalo for the first time since 2022 and for the 15th time in program history.
UMass won the last time it played in Buffalo, winning 31-26 against the Bulls on Nov. 27, 2015 to close out its final season as a Mid-American Conference program.
Then, No. 12 Utah and Utah State take center stage in the first of two non-conference games. The Utes and Aggies haven’t faced off for the Beehive Boot since Sept. 11, 2015. That game ended with Utah picking up its 79th win over its top in-state rival.
To close the night, a riding high BYU team will travel to Wyoming for one final test before Big 12 play begins. The Cougars and Cowboys share the same standing in the Western Athletic Conference and played each other annually when they were mutual rivals in the Mountain West, but this will be their first meeting since 2022 and third time since 2010.
CBS Sports Network will be with you when action begins in Week 3. In the meantime, be sure to check out the viewing info, storylines, betting odds and more for each matchup.

This underrated non-conference matchup features two teams on different trajectories. BYU has exceeded expectations thus far, coming off an impressive win over dark horse contender SMU in its first year in the ACC. Meanwhile, Wyoming began its 2024 campaign with a 48-7 blowout loss to Arizona State, followed by a 17-13 loss to FCS Idaho, a team that gave Oregon a tough time in Week 1. But the Cowboys are always a threat, and they’ve beaten a number of Power Four programs recently.
