ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration has opened a Business Recovery Center in Valdosta.
Located in the Turner Center for the Arts in the Arts Annex at 601 North Patterson Street, it is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sunday. is.
The SBA opened a center to assist businesses and residents affected by Hurricane Helen, making more businesses and residents eligible to apply for the SBA’s low-interest disaster loan program.
The SBA also added additional counties to the declaration, making low-interest disaster loans available to more Georgians. Colquitt County businesses are eligible for both Bodily Injury Disaster Loans and Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the SBA.
SBA customer service representatives are stationed at all FEMA disaster recovery centers and two centers in Georgia where survivors can receive assistance with applying for SBA disaster loans. SBA customer service representatives are available to answer questions, help disaster victims complete disaster loan applications, receive documentation, and provide application status updates. We accept walk-ins, but you can also make reservations in advance.
