Nash Airbnb
The Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening ceremony Sept. 10 for Nash Airbnb, located at 144 Front Royal Road in Strasburg.
During the ceremony, a mural by Sarah Garahan of Winchester was unveiled, depicting grandfather, grandson and son James Sylvester, James Rich Troxell and James Elmer Troxell. Sylvester opened Nash Garage in the 1930s. Once a junkyard, it later became a thriving Nash car dealership run by his son and grandson. After a fire that destroyed most of the dealership in 2019, Erica and Rich Troxell restored the building and transformed it into the Nash Vintage Garage Getaway, a two-bedroom Airbnb.
