Massanutten Realtor Board
Coldwell Banker Premier Sheila Hall was sworn in as the next president of Woodstock’s Massanutten Board of Realtors on Dec. 9.
She will serve as vice-president through 2025 and then become president in 2026. Mr. Hall has been a licensed real estate agent since 2001. She has held multiple leadership roles at MAR, including serving as treasurer for the past three years, and has dual responsibilities for the association. Secretary for one year.
She has earned many real estate certifications including Certified Relocation Professional, Certified Listing Professional, Certified Real Estate Negotiator, and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist. Hall is also a nationally certified Coldwell Banker STAR (Systems, Tools, and Resources) trainer and Director of Agent Development for Coldwell Banker Premier.
The Massanutten Association of Realtors is based in Woodstock. The current president is Kamryn Santmyers.

Woodstock Cafe will host a Christmas market on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 117 S. Main Street. Highlights include charm bars, candles, local floral art and wreath making.
La Grange Family Farm
Frederick County Homesteaders will sponsor Christmas at Homestead Market and Bazaar at LaGrange Family Farm, 5498 Valley Pike, Stevens City, on Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
Visitors can find handmade gifts from local farmers, homesteaders and businesses. Homemade products and farm-inspired hot cocoa will be on sale, and there will also be an opportunity for Christmas family photos taken by local homestead photographer Chris Means of Grace Photography. Vault & Cellar will hold a Solstice Gathering to celebrate the longest night of the year and a paranormal investigation into the building’s rich history on Dec. 21 at 9:30 p.m. at 7843 Main Street in Middletown. Proceeds will be donated to the Blue Ridge Food Bank.

Sheer Elegance Pet Boutique will display photos of Santa and his four-legged friends on Saturday and Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 918 John Marshall Highway in Front Royal. Donations will be accepted to benefit the Humane Society of Warren County.

Governor Glenn Youngkin awarded more than $581,607 in matching grants to 108 small businesses, destination marketing organizations, downtown business associations and chambers of commerce as part of the Virginia Tourism Authority’s MicroBusiness Marketing Leverage Program It was announced that the money would be awarded.
Two local businesses were awarded matching grants. they are:
• Wolf Gap Vineyards in Edinburg received $5,000 with a $6,000 matching grant for the Winter Tasting Room Reservation Initiative.
• Root to Table Ltd. of Winchester received $10,000 to match a $10,000 grant for its work highlighting women in cooking and agriculture.
This funding program is designed to increase off-season visitor numbers and tourist spending by leveraging local marketing funds and matching state funding.
Through their creativity and hospitality, these small businesses play a key role in attracting visitors and demonstrating the charm and uniqueness of Virginia, which was named a CNBC Top Business State in 2024.
