WORC Fitness Studio in Liberty Hill has seen some exciting changes recently. Under new ownership and in new territory, WORC remains dedicated to its community-centered mission. Now located in the 29th District, Suite 100 on CR 214 in Liberty Hill, WORC’s new team aims to honor the original vision while adding new activities for members.
After founders Kristen Gunter and LaToya Easter decided to leave the organization, members Kayla Longino, Patricia Aguilar, and Brandi Parker stepped forward to continue WORC’s mission.
“We are committed to making every member feel like they are more than just a number,” said Longino, one of the new owners. “Faith is at the heart of everything we do here. We want to celebrate each and every person who walks through our doors.”
“Fitness is more than just exercise; it’s about creating a supportive environment,” Longino said.
To foster this welcoming community, WORC introduced the WORCer of the Week program, which highlights members who inspire others. Additionally, the studio has begun organizing monthly social events such as dinners and outings, creating opportunities for members to connect outside of their workouts and support local businesses.
WORC continues to offer high-energy, interval-based classes throughout the week with morning, evening, and Saturday options. Class times are 5, 8, or 9 a.m. on weekdays, 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 7:15 a.m. on Saturdays. Members can attend unlimited classes with a $99 monthly pass, and there are no commitments or upfront fees.
To make it easier for parents to participate, WORC offers optional child care for a flat fee of $40 per month.
“We know how important it is for parents to have peace of mind while training,” Longino said. “Our childcare services ensure that everyone can prioritize their health and fitness, regardless of their schedule.”
For those who want to track their fitness progress, WORC now has a Styku body scanner. It provides a 3D body scan that includes measurements of your body shape, hips, waist, and extremities. This advanced technology allows members to track changes over time and monitor fat loss, muscle gain, and activity levels. Members can purchase scans for $35, while non-members pay $45.
“This scanner is a game-changer in allowing our clients to track their progress,” said Longino. “You can do another scan in 30 days to see how far you have come.”
WORC also includes all fitness levels and ages and welcomes members from all backgrounds.
“Age is just a number here,” Longino said, referring to a 73-year-old member who attends three times a week. “It’s really inspiring to see people of all ages and fitness levels striving towards their goals.”
With new ownership, a new location, and a commitment to furthering our vision, WORC Fitness Studio is poised to keep Liberty Hill moving and connected. For more information or to purchase a class pass, please visit worcwithus.com.
