The City of Longview has announced recent employee promotions.
Karl Earnhart has been promoted to Animal Care Tech, Sr. at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center. Earnhardt previously worked as an animal care technician at the shelter.
Anna Cooper has been promoted to practice manager at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center. Cooper previously worked as a veterinary technician at the shelter.
Joseph Bowley has been promoted to equipment operator senior in the public works department. Mr. Bowley previously served as an equipment operator.
Jayden Williams has been promoted to utility operator. Mr. Williams previously worked as a maintenance worker.
Rhonda Hutchings has been promoted to public works supervisor. Hutchings previously served as an equipment operator.
Ethan Smith has been promoted to Athletic/Recreation Coordinator for Longview Parks and Recreation. Mr. Smith previously served as a recreation assistant.
Samantha Pitner has been promoted to animal control officer. Mr. Pitner previously served as an animal care technician at the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center.
David Reed has been promoted to Fire Data Analyst for the Longview Fire Department. Mr. Reed previously served as an Infrastructure Specialist II in Information Services.
Credit union selects employee of the month
Eric Rodriguez has been named Employee of the Month by East Texas Professional Credit Union.
Rodriguez is the LeTourneau Branch Coordinator and has been with the credit union since May 2014.
