
ALEXANDRIA, VA – On October 15, Burke & Herbert Bank announced the launch of a new foundation. The Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation was established to support the surrounding community by supporting organizations that serve the city’s residents.
“We believe the best solutions come from the communities themselves,” said David P. Boyle, Burke & Herbert Chairman and CEO. “The Foundation is here to support people who are passionate about improving their neighborhoods.Together, we aim to become the quintessential community bank by being a trusted and caring community partner. can be achieved.”

The document indicates the bank will “consider” submissions from those focused on health care, housing, hunger and education. Burke & Herbert has been headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia since 1852 and also has operations in Deleware, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia. The foundation also helps people in these states.
