The Varsity Bulldogs suffered two more losses last week, falling 55-60 in a close non-conference game. Tri-County North, Tuesday, Dec. 3. Friday, Dec. 6, with a 48-57 win over conference rival Legacy Christian Academy.
Freshman Brayden Trimbach was once again the offensive leader for Yellow Springs through both games, scoring 19 points against Tri-County and a whopping 29 points against Legacy. Senior Cavillon Wagner also had a strong showing offensively, scoring 10 points against Tri-County and seven points against Legacy. Senior Landon Harris had nine points against Tri-County and eight points against Legacy.
Trimbach moved up the conference standings last week and is now the leading scorer on the offensive line, averaging 21.3 points per game.

2nd place for boys
Last week in the Metro Buckeye Conference, the boys team maintained second place with two wins, defeating Stivers 2,006 pins to 1,481 pins on Thursday, Dec. 5. On Monday, Dec. 9, he dropped Emmanuel Christian from 2,108 pins to 1,904 pins.
Junior Noah Diamond was the leading scorer against Stivers, totaling 431 pins in two official matches. And against Emmanuel Christian, he scored 381 in two official games. The Diamonds currently rank second in the conference in scoring.
The men’s team currently has a conference record of 2-1 and an overall record of 4-1. Undefeated Dayton Christian leads the conference, but Yellow Springs is currently ahead of Dayton in points average for first place.
Women’s wins and losses
The Bulldogs girls went 1-1 in their next two games, winning 1,290-1,276 against Stivers on Thursday, Dec. 5, but losing 1,207 against Emmanuel Christian on Monday, Dec. 9. He lost by 1,355.
Freshman Avery Tobias remains the Bulldogs’ scoring leader with 260 pins in two games on Thursday and 286 pins in two games on Monday. With this game, Tobias moved into second place on the Metro Buckeye Conference scoring list.
