Browns’ Njoku to undergo ankle evaluation
Browns tight end David Njoku left the NBA’s blowout loss to Dallas early with a lower leg injury, reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, which he said may be a sprained ankle. Njoku will be evaluated on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
Puka Nacua had four catches for 35 yards before the Rams’ loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday night. He was carried off the sideline on a stretcher after the second quarter and did not return.
Justin Fields was named the starter in Week 1 after Russell Wilson suffered a calf injury late in training camp, but the Steelers entered Week 2 with some quarterback questions after an 18-10 loss at Atlanta in which Fields threw for just 157 yards.
