A Bluffton luxury custom home builder is getting into the real estate development business.
According to a news release, Front Light Building Co. has entered the real estate development sector with the launch of Front Light Building Co. Development.
The move is an important milestone in the company’s growth and will enable it to leverage its custom home construction expertise to create vibrant, sustainable communities, the release states.
“While our vision of building quality homes remains at the core of our company, we are expanding our horizons to focus on whole community development through thoughtful planning and design.” CEO and Co-Founder of FLBC Development said Matt Green in a release. “Our developments are designed to meet the real needs of the communities we serve.”

It is now home to major retail stores, medical facilities, government buildings, parks, green space, and surrounding residential areas. Additionally, Green has been involved in several master planned communities, from entitlement and zoning to development.
“Expanding our company into development allows us to shape entire communities by creating spaces where people can live, work, and thrive,” Green said in the release. “We have always been committed to high-quality craftsmanship and collaboration with our customers. Our team helps make the vision a reality, creating a sustainable, integrated, and more than just a place to live. We are excited to continue our commitment to building our community.”
