Fine Art Lighting has partnered with interior designer Barclay Butera to develop a new luxury lighting line that will debut at High Point Market.
Embark by Barclay Butera will be the first line from the collaboration, and will feature a range of products from chandeliers and sconces to table lamps for both indoors and outdoors.
“We have known Berkley and his team for many years and have had numerous discussions about a potential collaboration,” said Fine Art co-owner Rene Quintana. “When the time came for Berkley to launch his Berkley Butera Couture brand, he approached us as a partner in luxury lighting.”
“What sealed the deal was his unique and inspiring product concept, which our design team and artisans transformed into a stunning work of art.” In an Instagram post, Butera interacts with glassblowers and others who make lighting fixtures.
According to Fine Art Lighting, the pieces feature nautical hues, muted amber glass, chic contemporary shades of white and nature-inspired shapes such as waves and sails.
“Embark has a very premium and bespoke element to it,” says Butera. “The handcrafted design features exquisite wavy glass with three distinct moods: the white for a contemporary feel, the amber for a moody vibe, and the blue for a hint of nautical style.
