Benton County is planning a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Columbia Valley Restoration Center in Kennewick on November 12th.
“This important milestone marks the beginning of the first phase of construction on the former Kennewick General Hospital building and Auburn campus,” the county said in a statement, adding that the center at 216 W. 10th St. It was described as “Triumph State’s first facility.” -The city is dedicated to providing essential addiction recovery and crisis stabilization services. ”
The $23 million facility is expected to be completed by December 2025.
Bouten Construction is the general contractor.
Construction costs will be covered by local tax revenue and state and federal grants, and operations will be allocated from behavioral health sales taxes, the county said.
Sogo Healthcare will operate the facility.
