The military pressure on Israel’s application to Hamas is at work, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a government meeting on Sunday.
Netanyahu added that the security cabinet decided on Saturday to increase operations against Hamas.
This occurs in Israeli operational strength and sword launched by the IDF at the beginning of March. In late March, the military said four separate troops were operating in each of the major regions of Gaza.
“It works because it works at the same time. On the one hand, it crushes Hamas’ military and government capabilities, and on the other hand, it creates the conditions for hostage release. That’s exactly what we do.”
“We are committed to retrieving hostages and are working to regaining them. To this day, the combination of military and diplomatic pressure is the only thing that has led to the return of hostages,” Netanyahu further pointed out.
Three “false claims”
Netanyahu also commented on three false claims “continuously directed at us with one lie.”
The first lie is that there are no negotiations held to release the hostages. Netanyahu made it clear that they were, but applied military pressure to Hamas to follow.
Second, Netanyahu said, “Hamas will throw away weapons. Its leaders will be allowed to leave. Looking at the general security of the Gaza Strip, we will allow the Trump plan to be realized for voluntary migration. This is a plan.”
Third, he addressed the claim that he didn’t care about hostages, saying, “We’ll talk deeply with the hostage family,” and “it hurts immeasurably.” He said that he “reflects Hamas propaganda.”
“As of today, the combination of military and diplomatic pressure is the only one that has returned hostages,” he concluded.

Active enforcement against Hezbollah
When discussing Israel’s continued military action against Hezbollah, Netanyahu said there was “a very aggressive enforcement without compromising,” adding that the directive was handed over to the IDF by the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense and the security cabinet “implementing it in an optimal way.”
Netanyahu added: “The Lebanese state needs to see that it is responsible for what comes from its territory and that attacks on the Israeli state do not come from its territory.”
“We respect the Lebanese state and its military. Therefore, we ask them what you demand from those you respect,” he revealed.
We would like to thank Houthi Terror for your support
When discussing the terrorists in Houthi in Yemen, Netanyahu said that they are “responding very powerfully” and “we are very grateful for the actions of our allies, the United States.”
“We’re acting to protect ourselves…but the fact that the US went there violently is a big change,” he added.
Netanyahu concluded that the alliance has “a complete appreciation for Israeli citizens and government.”
The future of the Gaza Strip
The Prime Minister dealt with the future of the Gaza Strip following the Israel-Hamas war. “Hamas will abandon his arm and his leader will be allowed to leave,” Netanyahu said.
“We will ensure the overall security of Gaza and enable the Trump plan to be implemented, or ambitious migration. That’s the plan. We don’t hide it and are ready to discuss it anytime,” he added.
Einav, the mother of Gaza hostage Matan Zangaukar, commented on Netanyahu’s statement. “The prime minister who really cared about hostages would have made sure they were home a long time ago,” she pointed out.
“The person responsible for applying the military pressure that led to the death of 41 prisoners of war, continues to try to sell to the public the idea that “military pressure” will regain them,” she added.
