The BBC is currently accepting applications for the 2025 BBC News Comradumo Award, which celebrates outstanding journalism in Africa.
This year marks the tenth year, the award celebrates the legacy of renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and former BBC World News presenter Komura De Maul. He was notorious for defending authentic, dynamic storytelling about Africa.

The award is open to journalists living and working in Africa who demonstrate exceptional storytelling skills.
Application details
Successful applicants will spend three months at the BBC in London, along with television, radio, podcasts and online news teams. They receive training, mentorship, and opportunities to study and report on stories from African countries.
