The new Bab Samhan, a Luxury Collection hotel has opened in Riyadh’s historic district of Diriyah. This place offers a unique blend of rich culture, traditional architecture and genuine hospitality. Known for its ancient Najdi architecture, Diriyah is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site At-to-Life. The site contains well-preserved palaces, mosques, and adobe structures that are representative of Najd in the central region of Saudi Arabia. The hotel takes its name from Bab Samkhan, one of the most iconic gates in historic Diriyah, which served as the city’s strategic defense point.
The first hotel of its kind in Diriyah, it blends seamlessly with the region’s traditional adobe architecture. Featuring open courtyards and spaces for guests to gather, it combines ancient and modern design elements inspired by the local environment.
