LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) – Construction is well underway on a mixed-use development in Lexington County’s Red Bank neighborhood, according to local real estate firm NAI Columbia.Platt Springs Crossing will be a 57-acre development located between 5400 and 5470 Platt Springs Road. The development will be anchored by a 51,000-square-foot Lowes Foods grocery store, surrounded by 10,000 square feet of adjacent retail space and 8,400 bays for medical retail, according to the company.The project, developed by Lexington Land Development Company, is estimated to cost $65 million. A new study reveals striking differences in the grocery shopping patterns of consumers in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
