The interior, by Dallas-based Chad Dorsey Design, reflects the colors of the Virginia landscape, with deep purples and blues reflecting the setting sun, and greens taking inspiration from the surrounding forest. Custom furniture, antiques, finishes, and works by French ceramist Roger Capron (a botanical-themed coffee table overlooks the valley) bring maximum warmth to the space. .
Hawk Eye marks the completion of Primland’s major property expansion, including a refreshed gathering space within the main lodge and a reimagined two-story great hall with a cozy fireplace (this (also completed by Dorsey).
The renovation also introduced a Leatherflower restaurant and two mountain top tree house suites with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
