Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business made progress in several areas in U.S. News & World Report’s new 2025 Best Colleges rankings.
The school’s overall ranking for its undergraduate business program jumped from 29th last year to 27th (tied for the position), ahead of the University of Colorado Boulder, Brigham Young University and George Washington University.

Carey is the largest business school in the country, and we are incredibly proud to offer our students a highly regarded, rigorous program taught by top-notch faculty.”

The undergraduate program also performed well in rankings across several subject areas, including 2nd in Supply Chain Management, 9th (Tie) in Information Systems, 9th in Production/Operations Management, 10th in Analytics, 12th in Business Management, 13th in Accounting, 19th (Tie) in Finance, 24th (Tie) in International Business and 26th (Tie) in Entrepreneurship.
In the spring and early summer, U.S. News asked deans and senior faculty of all undergraduate business programs accredited by the Association of Undergraduate Business Schools to rate the quality of all programs. Average peer evaluation scores were used to calculate the rankings.
“WP Carey has approximately 20,000 undergraduate students and we are committed to providing each and every one of them with a world-class business education that will have a ripple effect on their careers, their families and their communities,” said Michelle Fund, senior associate dean for undergraduate programs at WP Carey. “It is an honor to be recognized among so many other incredible programs that are doing that.”
The W.P. Carey MBA was also recognized in recent rankings.
In addition to accolades for its undergraduate programs, W.P. Carey’s full-time MBA has also received recent recognition.
First, Fortune magazine released its list of the best MBA programs for 2025, with W.P. Carey coming in at number 29, ahead of Indiana University and the University of Notre Dame. Then, Bloomberg released its rankings of the best business schools for 2024-25, with its Full-Time MBA again coming in at number 29 among US schools, ahead of the University of Southern California, the University of Notre Dame and the University of Washington.
