Online searches for gambling addiction-related terms have been surged throughout the US in recent years, particularly in states that legalize online sports betting, according to a survey released Monday in the American Medical Association’s peer-reviewed journal.

Rely on others to help with the money problems caused by gambling.
If someone is diagnosed with a gambling addiction, at least four of the above signs should be present in the past year, the organization said.
