Miami police arrested the suspect for theft of two luxury cars belonging to the Hurricane quarterback and another vehicle owned by his girlfriend, UM basketball star Hanna Cabinder.
According to CBS News, former defensive lineman at Miami’s true North Classic Academy, Tykwon Anderson waived his rights to the robber during police questioning and confessed to him.
Anderson faces allegations of occupied residence, first-degree grand theft and grand larceny of a car after he and three other people broke into the home where Beck and Cabinder were sleeping. I’m doing it.
Among the stolen items are Beck’s Lamborghini and Mercedes and Cabinder Range Rover, with the latter two vehicles recovered, but Lambo remains missing as of Friday.
These show the latest in a series of bold thefts targeting well-known football players.
This situation sparked the FBI to warn in December about an organized crime group targeting professional athletes after notable robberies affecting the NFL and NBA stars.
The investigation peaked at the U.S. Lawyer’s office in the Central District of Florida, approving criminal charges accusing seven Chilean immigrants in connection with the crime.
Beck is one of the most prominent names to appear on the transfer portal this offseason, landing from Georgia along with Miami after being expected to declare the NFL Draft.
Instead, the former Bulldog star landed in the Hurricane. There, when the 2025 football season begins, he will become manager Mario Cristobal QB1.
Beck’s move to Miami included reported NIL deals worth around $4 million.
