Movie theater giant AMC Theatres has elected Bally’s Corporation Chief Financial Officer Marcus Glover to its board of directors, effective Sept. 12.
Glover, who has served as the casino entertainment company’s executive vice president and CFO since May 2023, will serve as a Class 1 director with a term expiring at AMC Theatres’ 2027 annual meeting of stockholders. He will serve as a member of the board’s audit committee.
“Mr. Glover brings extensive financial, operational and management experience to the board, including experience as chief financial officer of a public company,” AMC Theatres said.
Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Strategy Officer for QPSI LLC, a supply chain solutions and contract packaging company, from October 2021 to May 2023. Previously, he served as President and COO of Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa and President and COO of Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, and held various senior executive roles at Caesars Entertainment.
“Marcus Glover joining AMC’s board of directors is a great benefit to everyone who works at AMC and supports its success,” said AMC Chairman and CEO Adam Aron. “Marcus brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the AMC board across a variety of areas including guest service, employee satisfaction and finance. I look forward to working with Marcus and the entire board as we continue to deliver results for our guests, shareholders and partners.”
Glover added, “AMC is a company I’ve long respected for its innovation in the entertainment industry and one I visit regularly as a movie fan. I look forward to working with the other executives and AMC’s leadership team as the company continues on its path as an industry leader.”
