Actress Dale Haddon died Friday of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the home of her son-in-law, actor Mark Blucas.

The 76-year-old man was removed from his home and taken to hospital where he was receiving treatment. According to police, a 76-year-old woman was found dead in the second floor bedroom of the home.
NBC Philadelphia confirmed that the incident occurred at Brucas’ home. The Bucks County Coroner’s Office said in a statement Saturday that a preliminary investigation revealed the presence of high levels of carbon monoxide inside the home. Haddon’s cause and cause of death have not yet been determined.
Police said the incident was being investigated as a “tragedy”. Two rescue medics were exposed to high levels of carbon monoxide and were treated at a hospital. A Solebury Township police officer was treated at the scene, the department said.
Haddon’s acting credits include Disney’s “The World’s Greatest Athlete” and “North Dallas Forty.” According to her website, she is also the only model signed to four major cosmetics companies: Revlon, Max Factor, Estée Lauder, and L’Oréal.
Haddon worked as a spokesperson for L’Oréal for more than 15 years, was an ambassador for UNICEF, and founded WomenOne, a charity focused on the education of girls and women, her website states.
Her daughter Ryan Haddon remembered her mother as an “inspiration” and someone who “supported so many people.”
“The bright light that is Dale has grown dim in this earthly realm. I have no doubt that it will shine just as brightly as ever where it is needed most,” she wrote on Instagram. I wrote it in a post. “She was a strong woman, yet soft and considerate towards everyone. She was deeply creative and curious, and gifted with beauty both inside and out. She was always kind and thoughtful.”

Representatives for Mr. Haddon and Mr. Brucas did not immediately respond to requests for comment Saturday.
