Washington, DC:
US President Donald Trump plans to facilitate American citizenship through so-called “gold cards” that rich immigrants can purchase for $5 million. The US president said that these “gold cards” will tell foreigners the status of their green card residence and the path to American citizenship, and that they will predict that one million cards will be sold.
Trump said the initiative was able to quickly repay national debt. He told reporters that it would replace the “EB-5” immigrant investor visa program.
The EB-5 program grants “green cards” to foreigners who commit to investing in US businesses.
“We’re going to sell gold cards… we’re going to put a price of about $5 million on that card,” Trump said.
“In addition to the privileges of green cards, it will be a route to (USA) citizenship and the wealthy people will come to our country by purchasing this card,” he added.
The president said details about the scheme will come out in two weeks. When asked by journalists if Russians were eligible for the plan, he said that Russian oligarchs could be eligible. “Yeah, maybe. Hey. I know Russian oligarchs, who are such lovely people,” he said.
About the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program

“EB-5 Program… It was full of nonsense, make-up and fraud, and it was a way to get a low-cost green card. 5 programs end the EB-5 program.
