π Good morning everyone, especially…
NFL division round teams and their fans
The divisional rounds of soccer are about to begin! We have a superstar. We have a story. potential weather forecast all three game Things that are played outdoors.
And now we have the pick. Go straight to Sunday night’s Ravens vs. Bills showdown (6:30 p.m. on CBS/Paramount+). it is the bestranked by Tyler Sullivan, Lamar Jackson vs. Josh Allen is The quarterback battle of all quarterback battles. tyler predict …
Sullivan: “The combination of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry as a rushing duo in the backfield is built for playoff games like this. Also for the Bills, who are allowing 4.5 yards per rush this season. It’s a favorable matchup, and the Bills rank in the bottom half.” Jackson and Henry are naturally getting the most attention in the league, but after this week, the NFL’s No. 1 scoring defense, total defense, and third-down defense. Do you know who is the one? Predicted score: Ravens 27, Bills 23 | Ravens -1.β
I’m very interested to see if Buffalo can make enough big plays on offense. Both teams had top-10 offenses in terms of down-to-down success, but Baltimore had the highest percentage of plays that gained at least 10 yards this season. Buffalo was 15th.
Commander’s Lions also looks like a lot of fun. And while Detroit is well-rested, well-hydrated and the heavy home favorite, Washington is also well-matched in several ways, with one writer giving the visitors a shocker.

π College Football Playoff Championship: Who will finish the Redemption Edition?
When Notre Dame lost at home to Northern Illinois earlier in the season, it was hard to imagine the Fighting Irish as a playoff team, much less one that could compete for a national championship four months later. Ta. Similarly, when Ohio State lost to Michigan late in the season, the Buckeyes instantly became the unluckiest playoff team in history. Was Ryan Day’s job on shaky ground?
Now they’re here, and Brandon Marcello Describe their turning point in detail.
Marcello: βA win on Monday would make Notre Dame the most unlikely national champion in the modern era of the BCS and CFP, which began in 1998. After falling as a three-touchdown favorite early in the season. Only one team ever won a national title.” (Florida in 2008)…Marcus Freeman largely avoided talking about the loss publicly, but he used it to light the locker room on fire. β
If there’s one player who most embodies Ohio State’s turnaround, it’s Will Howard. The offensive stars and solid defense around him get the most attention, but Howard’s game-ending mistake against Oregon and misfire against Michigan gave way to great play in the CFP. . A great end to a wild journeywrites Dennis Dodd.
βΎ“Mr.” Baseball legend Bob Uecker dies at age 90
Bob Uecker, iconic baseball broadcaster and World Series winning catcher, was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. He passed away on Thursday after a battle with small cell lung cancer.. He was 90 years old.
Mr. Uecker was called to Brewers games for 54 seasons and appeared in the movie “Major League,” as well as the sitcom “Mr. Belvedere” and a series of popular Miller Lite commercials. Johnny Carson, the longtime host of “The Tonight Show,” once called Uecker “Mr. Baseball,” but the handle got stuck. As a player, Uecker spent six seasons as a catcher, debuting with the Milwaukee Braves in 1962. He won the World Cup. He appeared in a series against the Cardinals in 1964 and also played for the Phillies until his career ended with the Braves, who by then had moved to Atlanta. He began broadcasting in Milwaukee in 1971. Uecker was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003 as a Ford C. Frick Award recipient, and the Brewers dedicated statues of him in 2012 (outside the stadium) and 2014 (on the upper deck). “Yuk was the light of the Brewers, the soundtrack of our summer and the source of laughter in our hearts, and his passing is a deep loss,” the team said. As part of the statement. βHe was the heart and soul of Wisconsin and a dear friend.β
JJ Watt from Wisconsin was one of them. Several athletes paid their respects.
A legend in every sense of the word, Uecker’s death is an immeasurable loss to the sport. Matt Snyder receives prestigious award A baseball player who lived his life to the fullest..
Snyder: “You don’t have to worry about pointing out a less-than-stellar career. He laughed at himself more than anyone else. This level of self-confidence and playfully laughing at himself is not something he’s worried about.” What he was able to do paved the way for his life.”While we regret inducting him into the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Media Department, an immortal baseball figure, we are deeply grateful for the profoundly fulfilling work that was at its core. It was nice to see the public part of life. It goes far beyond extended baseball. β
