MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — A South Georgia gem is now joining the Macon community: Lazarus of Macon just opened at 3051 Vineville Avenue, offering Macon residents everything from casual apparel to high-end fashion.
Managing partner Stuart Cashwell said he and his partners noticed a demand for high-end apparel in Macon and, after living in Macon for 13 years, knew they had to do something to change that.
“We wanted to give the people of Macon the clothes they want, which includes brands like college gear, Peter Miller and Barbour, but also great shoes and footwear, and we’re totally open to what the people of Macon want. We want to respond to customer requests, get their feedback and give them what they really want,” Cashwell said.
Lazarus of Macon grew out of the success of Lazarus of Moltrie, which has served the South Georgia community for 75 years.
“For us, it’s really about helping people look and feel their best. We want to give them clothes that they can actually wear whether they’re going to the office, playing golf, hunting or fishing. We want to help people look and feel their best,” Cashwell said.
Lazarus had a soft opening on Wednesday.
