The Bangkok apartments will be Porsche’s third apartment building, following iconic residential buildings in Stuttgart and Miami.
German luxury car manufacturer Porsche recently unveiled the design for the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, an ultra-luxury high-rise condominium complex that has been described as an “architectural masterpiece.”
The project will be executed by real estate developer Ananda Development and Porsche Design, the carmaker’s luxury division.
The mansion will feature 22 sky villas, ranging in size from 525 square metres to 1,135 square metres and expected to be priced between $15 million (€13.59 million) and $40 million (€36.25 million). The sky villas will come in both four-storey and two-storey options.
The building will also feature a number of other luxury amenities, including an internal spiral car ramp called “The Loop,” a luxury car garage perfect for a car collection, a spa, swimming pool, gym and social and business lounges.
The apartments have spacious balconies, extensive metal and glass design, and amenities like motorized cupboard doors and drawers and premium, customizable appliances.
The project will be located in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok.
Construction of the 21-story residential project is scheduled to begin in 2025 and be completed by the end of 2028. It will be the third tower of its kind built by Porsche Design – the other two are in Stuttgart and Miami.
Porsche’s “Passion” project combines form and function
Porsche recently highlighted that these apartments are a way for the company to offer exclusive experiences to its most valued and discerning customers. Southeast Asia is also a key market for the company, mainly due to the presence of important automotive events in the region.
“We are extremely pleased to announce our partnership with Ananda Development. This marks a milestone in our relentless pursuit of excellence,” Stephan Büscher, chairman of the board of management of the Porsche Lifestyle Group, said in a statement.
“Following Professor FA Porsche’s design philosophy of ‘reducing form to its essentials while optimizing function without compromise,’ the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok represents a groundbreaking combination of exquisite design and optimal functionality.
“Our vision is to create living spaces where passions can flourish. We pursue passion in everything we do and strive for our projects to become more than living spaces, they become expressions of individuality.”
Chanon Ruangkritia, president and CEO of Ananda Development, added: “We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Porsche Design, which symbolizes our shared belief that passion inspires creativity and drives the achievement of excellence, as exemplified today by the concept of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok.”
“We believe that the shared passion of both partners, combined with Porsche’s excellence in luxury design and Ananda Development’s meticulous attention to detail in its properties, will result in a truly exceptional residential development.”
