Bottega Veneta launches new handbags
Bottega Veneta has been bringing you its famous braided leather Intrecciato accessories for years, but for Fall/Winter ’24, the brand welcomed a new direction and a new bag. Cut in a crossbody silhouette with a coaxial loop and brass hoop fastening, the Liberta bag features a smooth surface made from soft calfskin leather. While inspired by archive pieces from the 1970s, this interpretation is a fresh take on the original, focusing on smooth leather for the Fall/Winter season. Available in two sizes, small and medium, and four rich hues, the only question remaining is whether this will be the new It bag for the coming season. We think so.
Anya Hindmarch x Peanuts
Calling all stationery fans! Anya Hindmarch is unveiling its next collaboration at its hugely popular Pont Street store, The Village, this time with Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts. Just in time for back-to-school season, the iconic cartoon characters and friends will appear on stationery and merchandise. The pop-up even features the series’ world-famous yellow bus parked outside the store. The collection includes stickers, pens and pads as well as limited edition leather goods such as tote bags and card holders. It’s also available to buy online now.
The Peanuts x Anya Hindmarch Stationery Store will be open until October 13th.

Swarovski launches new eyewear collection
Swarovski has partnered with Essilor Luxottica to release a new eyewear collection just in time for the end of summer (or for those who are already planning on enjoying the winter sun). Inspired by Swarovski’s signature jewelry collections—Constella, Matrix, Swan and Invar—the eyewear features a variety of crystal settings. From cat-eye silhouettes to wraparounds and sporty, goggle-like frames made with plastic frames and temples complete with rubber padding, this collection is the most dazzling range of eyewear we’ve seen this year, and it’s already available to shop on Swarovski.com.
The Pig, Cotswolds opens
Those who have been eagerly awaiting the opening of The Pig Cotswolds needn’t wait any longer: the luxury hotel group’s newest property is due to open on September 2nd. Taking over from the old Barnsley House (a countryside meeting place frequented by celebrities in the 2010s – IYKYK), the hotel is located in the heart of the Cotswold village of Barnsley. The hotel itself is a picturesque, quintessentially English 17th-century country house in Gloucestershire, with beautiful Arts and Crafts-style grounds and vegetable gardens, plus a terrace, sauna and spa offering a range of treatments.
Celine Pop-up Space at Harrods
Harrods will host an exhibition for French luxury brand Céline from 30 August to 24 September (during Fashion Month) with a pop-up store also opening in the store. Both the Céline Beaute and AW24 womenswear collections will be available globally first and the first Rouge Céline lipstick shade, Rouge Triomphe, will be available for the first time at Harrods ahead of its global launch in October.
Royal College of Art at the London Design Festival
As part of the 22nd year of the London Design Festival, the Royal College of Art will present a multidisciplinary series of exhibitions, events and performances. After last year’s successful partnership with sustainable market Terra Carta, this year the festival will see a collaboration with the Terra Carta Design Lab at the RCA’s Battersea campus, which will showcase the work of RCA finalists as well as new research and innovation projects from the RCA. Running from 14th to 22nd September, the event is one art lovers won’t want to miss.
