For some time now, homes from big-name brands such as Armani and Fendi have been attracting those yearning for designer luxury homes. Automakers have also entered the real estate market, offering unique offerings such as Bugatti, Bentley, and Porsche Design, which has opened residential towers in Stuttgart, Germany, and Miami, Florida. The German lifestyle brand, founded by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, creator of the iconic Porsche 911, is now planning to expand its real estate business to Asia.
The company announced its third property development project on Tuesday with the opening of Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, in collaboration with Thailand-based developer Ananda Development. Construction of the 21-storey tower is set to begin next year and be completed by the end of 2028. The ultra-luxury apartment complex will be built in Sukhumvit 38, one of Bangkok’s most prestigious addresses.

“The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is the next big thing for Porsche in Southeast Asia,” Lutz Meschke, Vice Chairman of the Board of Management of Porsche AG, said in a statement. “The region is becoming increasingly important to us, as evidenced by the major events we have recently hosted here. One example is when we celebrated the world premiere of the all-new electric Macan in Singapore in January.”

According to a press release, the tower’s striking design, as seen in renderings, is inspired by the kinetic movement of the 911 Targa’s roof mechanism. The exposed pedestal structure, called the “X-Frame,” takes its cues from the design of the auto brand’s Mission R concept car and its exoskeleton, configured to create a unique entrance experience. A vibrant red light strip adorns the top of the building, mimicking the light display of Porsche’s iconic sports car.

According to a press release, the tower will feature 22 exclusive two- and four-story “Sky Villas” aimed at attracting the “ultra-high-net-worth” clientele. Residences will range in size from 5,651 square feet to 12,217 square feet and are priced from $15 million to $40 million. Owners will find high-end furnishings and appliances throughout the home and building, evoking a commitment to elegance, power and impeccable craftsmanship.
The complex will feature a host of amenities that can be customized to suit residents’ tastes, including an 82-foot pool, fitness center, spa, social lounge and a luxury garage with a showroom-like “passion space.” Fine dining restaurants and shopping malls are also nearby, providing a variety of entertainment options.
