Meg Ryan was spotted enjoying a shopping date with her 20-year-old daughter Daisy in New York City on Wednesday.
The “You’ve Got Mail” star and her daughter were spotted browsing books at McNally Jackson Bookstore in Soho, before moving on to TriBeCa to shop for clothes.
The pair looked happy as they strolled around town together in casual clothing.

Ryan, 62, looked effortlessly chic in a plain white long-sleeved top and black cargo pants, completing the comfortable look with black sneakers and a matching crossbody bag.
Meanwhile, Daisy wore a butterfly-print button-up top tucked into blue jeans with a black belt, white sneakers and stacked bracelets.
Ryan adopted Daisy from China in 2006 when she was two years old.

“I definitely think there’s magic in our relationship. We were destined to be,” the actress gushed to Glamour magazine in December 2023 about her relationship with Daisy.
The When Harry Met Sally star has a 32-year-old son, Jack, with ex-husband, actor Dennis Quaid.
She and Quaid, 70, were married for 10 years before separating in 2001.

“My kids are always fun. They’re the best of friends,” she told Glamour magazine in an interview. “They’re so curious and interested in the world.”
Ryan is clearly a proud mother, calling Daisy and Jack “the two best kids” in an October 2023 interview with People magazine.
Jack followed in his parents’ footsteps into acting, appearing in 2012’s The Hunger Games and 2023’s Oppenheimer. He also stars as vigilante Hughie Campbell in the Prime Video series The Boys.

It is not clear if Daisy plans to continue acting; she is currently an undergraduate student.
The mother-daughter outing came after Ryan made a rare red carpet appearance at Europe’s Sarajevo Film Festival last week.
She was awarded the Sarajevo Heart Honorary Award for her contributions to the film industry.

“I am so happy to be here and to thank you in person for the example you set during this siege,” she said in her acceptance speech, a portion of which she shared on Instagram.
Ryan was referring to the siege of Sarajevo during the Bosnian War – the festival was founded during that conflict in 1995.
“So you’re proving that arts and culture are resistance. Proving that diversity is strength. Art is what makes us feel less alone,” she added.
