Eagles 2024 roster cuts: Tracking 53-man roster moves, published by NBC Sports Philadelphia
The Eagles have until Tuesday at 4 p.m. to cut their roster from 91 to 53 players.
This won’t be their final 53-man lineup, but they have to start here, and many of the players released before the deadline will end up on the 16-man practice squad.
We’ll keep you posted as developments come in:

OL Max Scharping: The Eagles added depth to their offensive line by signing Scharping in June. Scharping played 79 games with the Texans and Bengals from 2019-2023, starting 33 of them. Scharping played primarily at tackle and guard this summer but did not make the 53-man roster. Several OL veterans participated in camp: (Aaron Wilson)

WR Austin Watkins: The 26-year-old Watkins has played for other NFL clubs before, but was a big part of the Eagles’ depth chart all summer (Andrew DeCecco).
WR Griffin Hebert: Despite a strong showing in the final preseason game, Hebert has always looked like it will be difficult to make the roster (Andrew DeCecco).
DE Taron Jackson: The former sixth-round pick has been a big player for a long time, but hasn’t played in a regular-season game since 2022. He had a decent summer but was lost in the edge rusher depth chart. (Andrew DeCecco)
S Andre Sam: The rookie safety out of LSU was really impressive this summer at a position where the Eagles don’t have a lot of depth. (Andrew DeCecco)
TE Kevin Forsch: The Eagles needed an additional tight end to get through camp and Forsch was one of them. The Eagles acquired the New Haven native, Forsch, who was released by the Jets in early August. (Andrew DeCecco)
