A Ferrari crashed into a guardrail near the Vincci Hotel on the A-7 in Marbella, leaving the car stuck.
What’s even more noteworthy is that it was a red Ferrari that flipped over the guardrail, but thankfully no one was injured and emergency services said no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The accident occurred on Sunday, August 25th at 8:45pm on the A-7 motorway near Marbella in the direction of Malaga. The Italian sports car left the road and ran over a guardrail. The red luxury Ferrari Spider was spotted stopped on the side of the road at kilometre 1033 of the A-7. Emergency services received several calls reporting a road accident with people trapped inside the vehicle. Police and medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.

The infamous A7, the arch rival of sports cars
When officers arrived on the scene of the stranded car, they found no one trapped inside and that the driver did not need to be transported to an ambulance. It was unclear whether the car was still dangling from the edge of the guardrail.
The same stretch of the A7 outside Marbella is notorious for scrapes between high-performance cars: in 2019, a Porsche Panamera overturned and blocked the road for several hours. The occupants of the car only suffered minor injuries. In 2021, a €400,000 Lamborghini Aventador burst into flames on the same road, causing serious traffic jams. Again, fortunately, no one was injured.
