Oceania Cruises, owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, has announced its 2025 lineup of Grand Voyages that will feature longer itineraries.
On the 111-day voyage, which begins on the 21st, passengers will visit remote locations in Europe, Asia, Oceania, South America and North America, visiting famous sites such as Borobudur in Indonesia and Mount Fiji in Japan.
“Our 2025 Grand Voyages will offer discerning guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in our destinations with enriching shore excursions and explore the world without time constraints,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises.
The 2025 Grand Voyage is designed for guests looking to explore the world comprehensively, with the opportunity to visit places that are hard to access due to the small size of Oceania’s fleet.
Smaller vessels such as the 30,277 gross tonnage Nautica, Insignia and Regatta will provide boutique port access and a yacht-like experience for their 670 passengers.
Meanwhile, the fleet’s 1,200-guest, 67,000-ton Riviera and its brand-new sister ship Allura, which was recently launched at Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard and is due to debut in 2025, are hosting hands-on culinary classes at sea through The Culinary Center.
These ships also offer culinary discovery tours that allow you to immerse yourself in local culinary traditions: options include chef-led programs, onboard cooking classes and visits to local markets and farms.
Additional services include Go Local and Go Green tours, where passengers can take part in activities that promote environmental awareness and cultural inclusion.
Long-term trips around the world
Oceania Cruises’ 2025 Grand Voyages will kick off with the “Exotic Atlantic Shores” voyage on January 27, 2025. The 22-day cruise aboard the Insignia will take guests from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Cape Town, South America.
The cruise will visit Tristan da Cuna, a British Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic and the world’s most remote permanently inhabited area, cross the Tigre Delta near Buenos Aires, Argentina, and guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a tango master class.

A 35-day voyage is also planned for the Nautica, which will depart Singapore on April 17, 2025 and sail to Cape Town, with passengers exploring Kuala Lumpur, Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives and Mozambique along the way.
Insignia will also enjoy a 22-day “Revered Pagodas” tour, launching on 23 March 2025, sailing from Singapore to Taipei, with the itinerary taking in sights from the Big Buddha in Koh Samui to the Net Master’s Garden in Shanghai.
Meanwhile, Alura will also offer a 22-day voyage around the Mediterranean, departing Athens on August 15, 2025 to Monte Carlo, Monaco, with stops on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, Spain’s Balearic Islands and Istanbul.

Another notable itinerary is “Outback & Island Pearls,” departing from Bali on June 23, 2025. The 25-day trip aboard the Regatta to Papeete, French Polynesia, will take participants to UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Komodo National Park and explore underwater life in the lagoons of Lautoka and Bora Bora in Fiji.
For those seeking a longer adventure, the Southern Seas Explorer voyage will offer a 61-day cruise. Departing from Perth, Australia on May 4, 2025, the Insignia’s cruise will conclude in San Diego, California.
The itinerary includes Australia’s natural wonders, such as Cape Le Grand National Park and the iconic Sydney Opera House, New Zealand’s abundant nature, and South Pacific island hopping, with stops in Vanuatu, Fiji, Bora Bora and Honolulu, Hawaii.
The shortest voyage will be a 21-day Marina sailing from Rio de Janeiro to Buenos Aires, while the Riviera will run from Tokyo to Singapore in 24 days. These routes will commence on 26 January and 14 February 2025, respectively.
