First revealed in March, the Cadillac Opulent Velocity Concept just debuted at motorsports gathering The Quail, a vehicle that gives a glimpse into the future of EV luxury performance, not only boasting autonomous driving technology but also featuring a next-generation augmented reality head-up display (AR HUD).
Aesthetically, the 2+2 coupe features automatically opening and closing butterfly doors, dramatic draped surfaces and vertical lighting with crystal fluted detailing found in the tail lamps, headlamps and grille. Cadillac’s famous illuminated badge has been updated in the form of a 3D illuminated grille that highlights the synergy of jewelry, sophistication and technology. With the touch of the multifunction controller, Opulent Velocity switches from automatic mode to the Velocity Experience; in the latter, the steering wheel and pedals appear as if out of thin air.
