Listen, I love a good pair of headphones that block out the noise around me when I need to focus on a task. I usually prefer over-the-ear headphones with good sound isolation, also known as earplugs.
In fact, as I write this, I’m wearing my comfy Sony WH-XB900Ns, streaming Tinashe’s new album, Quantum Baby, on Spotify. But what if my beloved earbuds die? Or maybe it’s just a matter of when? Let’s face it, all electronic devices have an inevitable expiration date.
This thought especially comes to mind whenever a cool new pair of headphones hits the shelves, like the Beats Studio Pro x Kim Kardashian headphones on sale at Amazon for $299 with Apple Care (save $79), which are one of the best deals on headphones on Amazon right now. I’ve always been a loyalist to Sony’s iconic sound, but I’ve also always admired the Beats brand for its stylish design.
Expanding on the success of the previous Beats Fit Pro x Kim K collab, these special edition Beats Studio Pro phones come in three neutral colors: Dune (my favorite), Earth, and Moon.
For a cheaper alternative, you could buy the regular degular Beats Studio Pro for $208 with Apple Care or $179 without, but the Dune’s color scheme makes my pupils dilate and I love it.
In our review of the Beats Studio Pro, we gave them a solid 4 out of 5 stars for their excellent call quality, noise cancellation, and spatial audio. They also boast up to 40 hours of battery life, 10 hours longer than the WH-XB900N.
