The Anaheim Ducks announced the uniform numbers Thursday for new members Brian Dumoulin, Robby Fabbri, Jansen Harkins and Carson Meyer, as well as returning sophomore defenseman Jackson LaCombe.
#6 Brian Dumoulin
The Ducks acquired Dumoulin, 31, from the Seattle Kraken on July 2 in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round draft pick.

The left-handed defenseman will become the 12th player in Ducks franchise history to wear the No. 6. Most recently, Jamie Drysdale wore the number 6 from 2022-2024, but only wore it for 18 games due to missing significant time with injuries during that time.
The player who wore the No. 6 jersey the longest in Anaheim was Ben Lovejoy from 2013-2015, who appeared in a total of 150 regular season games and 20 playoff games with the Ducks.

Dumoulin has one year remaining on his contract, with an average annual salary of $3.15 million.
#13 Robbie Fabbri
On July 3, the Ducks traded goaltending prospect Gage Alexander to the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for Fabbri, 28, and a 2025 fourth-round pick.
Fabbri will become the eighth player in franchise history to wear No. 13, a number worn by defenseman Simon Benoit during the 2022-23 season.
The longest-serving player in Ducks history to wear the number 13 was Herman Titoff, who played 137 games for the Ducks from 2000-2002.
Fabbri has one year left on his contract, which averages $4 million per year.
#2 Jackson Lacombe
The Ducks extended a qualifying offer to LaCombe, 23, before signing the left-handed defenseman to a two-year contract with an average annual salary of $925,000 on July 15.
Following his freshman season in 2023-24, Lacombe will have the opportunity to change from his No. 60 jersey number. Lacombe wore No. 2 for the final three years of his NCAA career at the University of Minnesota and will now wear that number with the Anaheim Ducks.
Lacombe will become the ninth Ducks player to wear the No. 2. The last player to wear it was Luke Schoen in the 2018-19 season, when he appeared in eight games on the Ducks’ blue line. The most frequent Anaheim player to wear the number was Bobby Dallas, who played in 305 games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim from 1993-1997.
#38 Jansen Harkins
On July 2, after a quiet first day of free agency, the Anaheim Ducks signed Harkins (27) to a two-year contract worth $787,500 annually.

Harkins will become the eighth player in franchise history to wear No. 38. The most recent and most frequent wearer of the number was Derek Grant, who played in 309 games for the Ducks three times over six seasons from 2017-2023.
Harkins was originally a second-round draft pick (47th overall in 2015) by the Winnipeg Jets and has played in 199 NHL games with the Jets and Pittsburgh Penguins over the past five seasons, totaling 13 goals and 31 points.
#39 Carson Meyer
On July 3, Meyer (26) signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Ducks worth an average of $775,000 per year.

Meyer was a sixth-round draft pick (179th overall in 2017) of the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he has spent his entire professional career to date. He has appeared in 41 NHL games over the past three seasons, scoring just six points. He has had more success in the AHL to date in his career, scoring 110 points in 172 games.
Barring any injuries to the Ducks’ NHL roster, Meyer is likely to spend the majority of the 2024-25 season with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls.
Meyer will become the 11th player in franchise history to wear the No. 39. The number was most recently worn by Ben Meyers and most frequently worn by Matt Beleskey, who appeared in 329 regular season games and 34 playoff games for the Ducks.
Will there be any further changes to your jersey number in the future?
Notable at the Ducks’ uniform number presentation was the absence of Oren Zellweger and Pavel Minchukoff, two young defensemen who, like Lacombe, recently lost their rookie eligibility.
Opinion: Ducks unlikely to use offer sheet this offseason
Zellweger appeared in 26 games with the Ducks in the 2023-24 season, earning nine points. He is expected to play in the Ducks’ opening game of the 2024-25 season. Outside of the NHL, he most recently wore the number 3 for the San Diego Gulls, Canada at the 2024 Intercontinental Baseball World Championship, the Kamloops Blazers of the WHL and Canada at the 2023 World Junior Championship. He wore the number 48 while with the Everett Silvertips of the WHL.
Minchukoff appeared in 63 games and scored 28 points in his rookie season in 2023-24. He previously wore No. 4 for the Ottawa 67’s in the OHL and No. 10 for the Saginaw Spirit before that. Those two numbers will be unavailable to Minchukoff if he is given the opportunity to change jersey numbers after the 2024-25 season.
It will be interesting to see if Anaheim makes any further jersey number announcements in the months leading up to the start of the 2024-25 season.
