The Patriots reportedly made a big move Tuesday night, and may have been less excited than Drake May.
According to multiple reports, New England has agreed to terms and conditions with Stefon Diggs, who is expected to sign a three-year, $69 million contract and get a $26 million guarantee. The reported contract came just days after Diggs made a two-day trip to Foxboro, Massachusetts for his only known, free agency visit in the offseason.
Diggs tore the ACL in October last year, but he thought of the Patriots as a much better football team in the future. And no one will benefit more than May, who believes that three Pro Bowl choices Taylor Lwan is tied up by big things in 2025.
“Drake May is planning on having a massive year,” Lewan posted to X hours after ESPN’s Adam Schefter defeated news about Diggs landing in New England.
Rwann hadn’t gone too far on his limbs with that prediction. A professional bowler as a rookie, May was already ready to improve as a sophomore thanks to his improved coaching staff and full offseason/preseason as the unquestioned starting quarterback of the patriot. And now, with the presence of a stat sheet stuffer like Diggs in his arsenal, expectations for Maye are even higher.

These forecasts can increase very well as New England can improve offseason through drafts and free agency moves/trading.
