PGA of America has signed a strategic partnership with Silk Path Golf & Country Club and EveryGolf Vietnam, two major golf facility operators in Vietnam.
Silk Pas Don True Golf & Country Club, Faldo Signature Design, located in Don True City, a suburb of Hanoi, opened in January. The 18-hole public facility will host Vietnam’s first PGA of America Golf Academy. The Academy promotes association player engagement programs specifically designed for beginners and junior development.
The newly constructed academy building and adjacent practice area will also accommodate local golf professionals who want to use the facility, and introduce the PGA of America Education Pathways.
Additionally, PGA of America is partnering with EveryGolf, a leading brand of indoor golf simulator studios in Vietnam, offering the latest golf technology for coaching and entertainment opportunities at city centres. The two current studio locations in Hanoi serve as the home base for six local education professionals who will be featured in PGA of America membership opportunities through commitments from the newly established partnership.

“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with golf facilities under the Silk Pass and the Everygolf brand,” said PGA, the US director of global development. “The enthusiasm of their leadership team, which partners with the PGA of America, is the result of a shared mission to support the long-term growth of the sport.
“This new alliance will catalyze the opportunity to implement player engagement programs in Vietnam and lead the association’s development of games in the rapidly growing international golf market.”

“The “Good Everyday Golfer” has been my motto since the first day I started Everygolf,” said Kenny Nguyen, CEO of Silk Path G&CC and president of Everygolf Vietnam.
Currently, PGA brands golf facility partnerships in eight countries, including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Morocco, India, China, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Vietnam.
