Anterior Paul George of the Philadelphia 76ers has been ruled out for at least the rest of the regular season after receiving an injection into his left adductor and left knee on Monday, the team announced.
George consulted with his doctor last week about the best treatment options for gro diameter and knee injuries. The 34-year-old has played through gro caliber, finger and knee illnesses this season, dealing with multiple injuries over the past month. Sources say George received his fifth consecutive painkiller injection before the NBA All-Star break in February.
The 76ers will keep him out for the rest of the regular season as George said he could not play for at least six weeks. The 76ers are five of the final play-in spots of the Eastern Conference.
