The inconsistent Illini throttled in the Big Ten tournament in Maryland, painted a sweet path in the NCAA tournament.

Puncher’s Chance
Based on the way Illinois played throughout the season, there was no guarantee of tournament success.
However, after a look at the bracket, there was a way for Illinois to return to the regional finals, reaching last season.
It takes all the oars in the water at the same time. We will not allow rough fires from Will Riley or Caspalus Jaccionis. Mores Johnson Jr. needs to be in his best bruises. And someone from outside the main group needs to step on some big moments.
Don’t plan ahead
Brad Underwood is good to make sure his guys are focused on the task at hand.
The talented Houston sits on the other end of the bracket, but who knows if the Cougars will advance to the finals.
The team must enjoy the experience and entertain the numerous fans traveling north.
Remember, it’s not life or death. relax. enjoy. And then pack some good scissors later for net cutting.
