What can Cole Palmer’s Les Chelsea do even if the protagonist of this team is not in shape? Maybe they could have done something against the opponents we faced in the last four games. It’s an interesting challenge to say the least.
Arsenal, who played himself with a fake 9, felt very comfortable playing against the Chelsea side at home without a centre-forward advance. Bruce offered little when he had the ball in the final third and couldn’t really keep it, but the gunners attacked the opposite freely with some bodies and permeated runs, and the defenders occasionally fed dust.
Like these offensive moves, Arsenal has become known for his set-piece proficiency this season. They haven’t scored from the corner for a while, but will return to the track with a Mikel Merino head flick against the Chelsea team who doesn’t know how to make the most of their set-piece specialists.
Even if Chelsea barely made it in the final third, we almost got a tied goal from the absolute David Raya Howler. But we didn’t make our own luck in the first half of today. And luck wasn’t on our side as the ball rolled from a few centimeters to a few centimeters from a volley of Mark Kukulera.
In the second half, Chelsea were able to get closer to Arsenal’s playing level. However, we still didn’t have enough chances to score, so we were very comfortable closing the game and bringing home three points.
Cole Palmer is not on the team today due to injuries. Reece James played in the middle midfield and returned to the starting lineup. There are a few more Robert Sanchez giveaways in the first half, but no one really hurt us the way they expected. When Cucurella’s Volley/Raya’s Howler comes in, this is a very different second half. Bad luck! Next up is Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League after an international break. ktbffh.
