Get ready for a crucial two weeks for the Green Bay Packers, as Matt LaFleur’s squad will participate in two joint practices and two preseason games before general manager Brian Gutekunst decides on the 53-man roster and 16-man practice squad (17 if international player Kenneth Odumegwu remains on a practice squad exemption).
In two weeks, the Packers’ preseason schedule will conclude with a Week 1 trip to Brazil to face the Philadelphia Eagles. By then, LaFleur will have 91 players ready for two important practices and two preseason games, which will help Gutekunst make some key roster decisions heading into the 2024 season.

Thursday, August 15: Walk-through practice, travel to Denver
Friday, August 16: Joint practice with the Denver Broncos
Sunday, August 18: Preseason game vs. the Denver Broncos
Tuesday, August 20: Open practice in Green Bay
Thursday, August 22: Joint practice with the Baltimore Ravens
Saturday, August 24: Preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens
Tuesday, Aug. 27: Deadline for 53-man roster cuts
Wednesday, August 28: Practice squads begin being organized
NOTES: The Packers’ open practice on Tuesday, Aug. 20 has been rescheduled to 2:30 p.m. The practice on Thursday, Aug. 22 is the final open practice available during training camp.
The Packers open the 2024 season on Friday, Sept. 6, against the Eagles in Sao Paulo.
