The 2025 NFL offseason began at noon on Monday, March 10th, with a new league year beginning at 4pm on Wednesday, March 12th. Some big names are already preparing to wear new threads after trade deals involving playmakers like Deebo Samuel and DK Metcalf.
And it all happened before the official launch of the free agency. All 32 teams have been allowed to speak with imminent free agents starting Monday, but signatures and transactions can be confirmed from Wednesday, March 12th (Players released before free agency begin can technically sign new teams as their contracts end.
