President Masuud Pezeshkian said he would not negotiate with the United States while Iran is being threatened, and told President Donald Trump to “do whatever you want,” Iranian national media reported Tuesday.
“It is unacceptable for them (the United States) to give orders and pose a threat. I will not even negotiate with you. Do whatever you want,” the national media quoted as saying Pezeschkian.
Iran’s top leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Saturday that Tehran would not be bullied in negotiations.
Expressing openness to dealing with Tehran, Donald Trump has recovered the “maximum pressure” campaign he applied during his first term as president to isolate Iran from the global economy and drive oil exports to zero.
